VanDusen Botanical Gardens

Vancouver Venue

This spectacular garden opened to the public in 1975. The mild Vancouver climate allows the garden to cultivate an outstanding plant collection that delights at any time of year. Specific garden areas are planted to illustrate botanical relationships, such as the Rhododendron Walk, or geographical origins, as in Sino Himalayan Garden.

Two indoor facilities are available for business meetings, conferences, seminars, memorials, wedding receptions, banquets, Christmas parties, or for special office functions: The Visitor Centre and the Floral Hall Pavilion. The architecturally stunning and award winning Visitor Centre is a "living building", one of the world's most environmentally advanced buildings, offers picturesque views of Livingstone Lake and Woodland Garden. The Floral Hall Pavilion is a mid-century modern space with post and beam architecture overlooking the Cascadia Garden stream.

Visitor Centre includes the BMO Hall and the Peggy Gunn Woodland Hall which both accommodate 100 ppl theatre seated or 50 - 60 ppl reception.

Floral Hall Pavilion includes the Floral Hall which accommodates 120 ppl seated and the Cedar Room 50 ppl theatre seated.

Note: the Great Lawn (outdoor) is also available for rental and can accommodate 800 ppl seated.
