Vancouver International Film Centre & Vancity Theatre
Founded in 1982, The Greater Vancouver International Film Festival Society is a not-for-profit cultural organization that operates the internationally acclaimed Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF), the annual Film & Television Forum and the year-round programming of the Vancity Theatre at the Vancouver International Film Centre.
The beautifully appointed theatre with balcony and stage can be used to screen films, video and multi-media or to host seminars, multi-media lectures, forums and live performances (music, theatre, dance). From the ultra-comfortable seats with exceptional legroom, to the state-of-the-art projection and sound equipment, the Vancity Theatre is a flexible multi-use first-rate venue.
Citytv Atrium Lounge:
The dramatic three-story glass Citytv Atrium Lounge highlights the elegant lobby area of the Vancouver International Film Centre. With a projection wall, comfortable lounge & cafe seating, multi-purpose gallery, exhibition space and a concession stand, this area is suitable for all sorts of events including receptions, multi-media exhibitions, round-table discussion groups, meetings and forums.
This 650 s.f. office is bright, airy and a perfect location for meetings, small seminars, workshops or even a short-term office space.
