BEO Management Event Orders (BEOs) can be imported from
your Event Management System or can be entered directly into
EventSage®. When BEOs
are imported, the scheduling manager will review and can enter
additional requirements as needed. These requirements (tasks and
resources) are the critical link to creating schedules.

System Settings
Complex rules are entered at the time the software is
installed to ensure scheduling is customized as closely as
possible to your facility's preferences and labor laws. You
also have very finite control over which employees are selected
for shifts based upon several factors such as seniority, skill
level, pay rates, time off preferences, etc..

Resource Management Resources are the key to providing accurate
setup and teardown times used in automated labor calculations. The resource
definition form allows you to set times, lifting requirements, and other
parameters for each resource or resource package that allow the system to
read the BEO's from your automated catering package (or from
EventSage® if you do not
have an existing system) and perform the necessary calculations.

Tasks
Tasks, such as dinners servers or bartenders, can be defined
with a great degree of automation in the selection of personnel
and timeframes. Staggering of employees can occur when bringing
in larger groups to help increase operating efficiency. Multi-Event
service tasks, such as providing water or coffee services to an entire
floor or wing can also be defined.

Graphs
Labor coverage graphs can be viewed by day of week in several different styles
such as line, bar, step, Area, 3-Dimensional and 2-Dimensional. Graphs are useful
in identifying areas of limited or excessive floor coverage.
