History of LaborSage

 

May, 2001

LaborSage is founded and product development begins.

Feb, 2002

After 12 months in development, the first Alpha working model is installed.

Jun, 2002

First Beta test is performed. After a few iterations of the software, tremendous success is realized when the facility saved over 18 percent of banquet labor in the first six months even after a 10 percent drop in revenue year on year.

Oct, 2002

The official release of version 1.0 occurs

Nov, 2002

Additional trial properties are installed to further prove out the product within the beta organization.

Jan, 2003

Trial commences with a new, larger chain, resulting in a savings of over 20% in labor within the first 6 months.

May, 2003

The official release of version 2.0 occurs.

Jun, 2003

Beta organziation signs a master agreement to install EventSage at eight of their full service corporate owned properties.

Nov, 2003

A trial is initiated with a major Hotel chain in a mid-sized hotel to prove out employee sharing in sister properties.

Mar, 2004

Further trials are initiated in three hotels in another major hotel chain with excellent savings, resulting in a master agreement to begin installations in 2005.

Nov, 2004

The official release of version 3.0 occurs.

Aug, 2006

LaborSage agrees to acquisition by Unifocus, creating the Industry's most comprehensive Labor Management Application Suite. Click here to read the article.
